Accounts Apprentice achieves Level 3 AAT Qualification

We are delighted to announce that accounts apprentice, Paige Beresford has recently passed her Level 3 AAT Qualification.

Paige joined Essential Projects in September 2018 to help assist the management team to implement more robust project administration and financial systems in order to improve customer service and project efficiencies and highlight areas where increased profitability could be achieved.

In order to obtain the Level 3 qualification, Paige had to pass 6 modules of accounting, which included;

  • Advanced Bookkeeping
  • Final Accounts Preparation
  • Management Accounting: Costing
  • Indirect Tax
  • Spreadsheets for Accounting
  • Ethics for Accountants

The Level 3 Advanced Diploma is the second stage of a three-tier qualification that results in an AAT membership.

Commenting on her recent success, Essential Project, Managing Director, Eliot Saxton said “Paige has been a key influential figure in the success of the business over the past 2 years. Although only an apprentice, she has implemented a number of key financial systems, which has helped me to manage my time more efficiently.”

Paige added, “I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time working for Essential Projects, whilst also studying for my AAT apprenticeship. My ambition now is to continue my studies and progress onto the final level of the AAT through the Accountancy level 4 apprenticeship.”

Essential Projects, manufacturers glass and steel staircases, balustrade and other bespoke metalwork on behalf of leading retailers. These include Next Plc, Wilko’s, TK Maxx, Poundland, Argos concessions in Sainburys stores as well as a number of smaller commercial fit-out and residential staircase and balustrade projects on behalf of interior fit-out contractors.
