Bespoke Window Gate added to Next Store in Sheffield

Glass Partition

Essential Projects has a long history of completing bespoke architectural metal and glasswork projects on behalf of Next Plc. On this project we added to a bespoke window gate to their homeware store in Meadowhall, Sheffield.

Meadowhall Shopping Centre is the leading shopping and leisure destination in Sheffield and covers 1.4 million sq ft of floor space.

As part of its retail offering, Meadowhall houses 290 stores from top independent and international brands including Barbour International, Foot Locker, Hollister and House of Fraser.

On this occasion, we were instructed by Central Shopfitters to manufacture, supply and install a bespoke window gate at the Home store located on the outskirts of the shopping complex.

The 800mm wide glass window gate was installed on the ground to enable staff access to the window display area. The gate was also supplied with a fixed glass panel.

Commenting on the work, Dave Williams from Central Shopfitters said “For a number of years now we have worked alongside Essential Projects on a variety retail projects. Their onsite team is always really co-operative which ensures good working relations and communication between contractors is maintained.”

Eliot Saxton, from Essential Projects added “We are very happy to be able to continue our successful working relationship with Central Shopfitters. They trust us to manufacture products that are of the highest quality, delivered on time and at a reasonable price.”
