Essential Projects shortlisted for Insider Made in the Midlands Award

Apprentice of the Year | Made in the Midlands

A key aspect of Essential Projects success in recent years is partly down to the hard work of our accounts apprentice, Paige Beresford who we recruited over two years ago.

We are therefore very proud to announce that Paige has been shortlisted for an award in the Insider Made in the Midlands Awards 2021.

Hosted by Insider Media, the Made in the Midlands awards celebrate the manufacturing and construction heritage and capabilities within the region. Now in its eleventh year, the event has grown from modest beginnings to a premier division event that regularly attracts entries from more than 70 companies.

Paige has been shortlisted for the “Apprentice of the Year” award. Her entry was based around the pivotal role, she plays in managing our CRM system to pass on enquiry details to our outsourced marketing team and her role in implementing financial systems to help the business operate more efficiently and profitably.

Commenting on the award, Essential Projects, Managing Director, Eliot Saxton said “Quite simply, even though she was and still is an apprentice, Paige has taken on a lot of additional work and responsibility and has become a pivotal member of the Essential Projects team. I’m delighted that her hard work is being recognised in these awards.”

In line with the current government roadmap, the Made in the Midlands awards are due to take place on the 15th July 2021 at the Macdonald Burlington Hotel in Birmingham.
