Essential Projects was recently appointed to install glass balustrade at a property located within a prestigious residential estate in Nottinghamshire.
The Park Estate is a private residential housing estate located just outside of Nottingham City Centre. The estate is known for its Victorian style architecture with the first property erected on the site believed to be built in 1809.
The Park Estate is also famously known for operating a gas street lighting systems which is one of the largest networks of its type in Europe.
Essential Projects was contacted by the owner of one of the apartment properties to design, manufacture and install a glass balustrade solution that would improve the aesthetics of their penthouse balcony area.
After visiting the property to take precise measurements and conduct a thorough site survey, Essential Projects was able to design a solution in glass and steel that enabled the property owner to erect a safe perimeter to the balcony, whilst also affording visibility of the Nottingham City Centre skyline.
In total, 10 metres of glass balustrade was installed and integrated with three structured glass panels to provide added strength to the balcony railings which would prevent anyone from falling from height.
Commenting on the project, the homeowner said, “I am very happy with the finished glass balcony. The guys from Essential Projects were professional, courteous and extremely knowledge. A job very well done.”
Eliot Saxton, Managing Director at Essential Projects added “Essential Projects has a fantastic reputation for installing quality design solutions within residential properties. It is always nice to hear great feedback from a satisfied customer.”
