Award winning architecture and interior design practice CPMG has moved into new office space in Nottingham with the help of Essential Projects.
After two decades at their old home in Warser Gate, CPMG are moving their head office into a Grade II listed two-storey building on St Peters Gate in the centre of Nottingham.
Previously a bank and bar, the new office, overlooking St Peter’s Church, have been completely refurbished, with the old bank vaults being turned into subterranean meeting rooms.
The essential solution
As part of the renovation works Essential Projects was contracted by Arc Business Interiors to manufacture and install a bespoke steel staircase along with the structural steelwork required for a mezzanine platform.
In order to comply with Part K building legislation and provide a safety barrier, Essential Projects also supplied the balustrades and handrails to run along the perimeter of the mezzanine and bespoke steel staircase.
All metalwork supplied received an oxide primed finish, ready to be painted on site.
