Essential Projects is delighted to announce that it has successfully achieved SafeContractor accreditation.
The SafeContractor scheme is a SSIP-approved health and safety assessment scheme for contractors who want to demonstrate that they’re taking responsibility for their legal health and safety requirements.
SafeContractor is part of the Alcumus Group, the market-leading provider of technology-enabled compliance risk management, certification and verification services.
Alcumus Group employs circa 700 people and supports more than 30,000 clients in the UK and internationally with their Testing, Inspection & Certification (TIC) and Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) strategies.
In order to successfully achieve SafeContractor status, Essential Projects had to prove that the company had implemented relevant processes and had the correct documents in place to comply with current legislation. We also had to demonstrate an ongoing commitment to health and safety, in line with the requirements of being granted SafeContractor approval.
Now we are an accreditated SafeContractor member, Essential Projects will be added to the SafeContractor client portal, which is accessed by over 370 big brand clients looking for approved contractors to work on their site.
Commenting, Eliot Saxton, Managing Director at Essential Projects said “ SafeContractor accreditation is great achievement for Essential Projects and a fantastic way to kick start 2019. Essential Projects has set itself some substantial growth targets, so to be awarded SafeContractor approval and added to their client portal will help us win more significant contracts of higher quality and value in the retail, domestic, and commercial sectors.”
