Whilst we can supply standard size structural steel beams, there are often projects, particularly refurbishments and retro extensions where a standard size just won’t suffice.
Our ability to manufacture bespoke sizes is one of our unique differentiating factors and why a number of leading architects and interior fit-out companies have Essential Projects on their approved or preferred supplier lists.
Not only are we willing to supply the easy to fulfil standard specification steelwork, we are also willing to go the extra mile to assist when bespoke measuring and manufacturing is required. This, together with our excellent service and manufacturing ability is why our expertise in structural steel beam fabrication is so popular. In a nutshell, if it is made in steel, we have the skills and expertise to manufacture and fabricate the metal structure you need.
Bespoke fabrication means that whatever building project is being contemplated, if structural steel beams are a requirement, the architect can design to the space available, rather than be restricted to off the shelf sizes available from a builder’s merchant.
ANY SHAPE ANY LENGTH
The size of our workshop means we can manufacture beams of varying lengths. Our fabricators have the skills and expertise to manufacture and install cranked beams, tee beams, single beam and single channel beams. For more heavier duty load bearing projects, we can manufacture double beams and channels as well as corner lintels.
We have many satisfied customers – including Arc Business Interiors who had been appointed to refurbish the interior Loughborough Magistrates Court. Essentials Projects were called in when it was discovered that the steel bracing of the existing dock needed to be replaced in order to ensure there was a clear line of site between the judge and defendants in the dock.
When global architectural practice CPMG designed their award winning new layout for their Nottingham office, structural steel beams were also a requirement to create a mezzanine and a new steel staircase.
These are just two examples of recent projects involving structural steel beams, but there are many more case studies on our website.
If your next project involves structural steelwork, glass or stainless steel staircases and balustrade please get in touch.
