With the help of Essential Projects, Jewellery and luxury watches retailer Beaverbrooks is relocating and upsizing its flagship store in Milton Keynes.
Beaverbrooks is a family-owned jewellers established in 1919, with 72 stores across the UK, providing exceptional quality diamonds, jewellery and watches.
The 102-year-old family-owned business has moved from a 1,300 sqft store to a new 2,744 sqft unit at Crown Walk in Milton Keynes, more than doubling its store space.
The new Beaverbrooks store will offer a selection of exceptional quality diamonds, jewellery and watches, and luxury and designer brands including OMEGA, Breitling and TAG Heuer.
Combining high specification fixtures and finishes with a chic, contemporary layout, the new store has been designed to create an inspirational retail environment where clients can relax and spend time exploring the collections.
As part of the refurbishment, Essential Projects was contracted to manufacture, supply and install structural steel to the new glazed shop front. This included structural steel roller shutter support that was required for both entrances into the store.
In addition to this, Essential Project were asked to remove an existing staircase and install a new bespoke steel 90-degree staircase for access to the first floor.
Commenting on the project, Essential Projects, Managing Director, said “We are really proud that we are cementing our position as a preferred contractor on retail projects for leading retailers such as Beaverbrooks. I think it is testament to the quality of bespoke structural steel we produce that we are linked with projects of this magnitude.”
